multiplayer
to play online open multiplayer in the main menu and log in, or make an account first (the password needs at least 6 characters). then search for a lobby or create your own. every mode works online except domination, that one is singleplayer only for now.
you need internet for it, obviously. if you can't find anyone to play with ask on the discord.

admin commands
in singleplayer you always have these. online the host has them as long as admin is on (it is by default), and admin, dev and owner accounts have them in any lobby, even if they aren't the host. the only ones the host doesn't get are /god and /fly, online those are for admin, dev and owner accounts only. /dev is just for me.

/dev | /animlab | owner only. stops the round and opens the animation test lab |
hosting a lobby
when you create a lobby you pick the mode and map and give it a name. you also set max players (2 to 16, 8 by default), an optional password, the bots and their skill, how long a round is and the kill target.
your game is the server, so it runs the bots and the clock and counts the votekicks. if you leave, the lobby closes for everybody. if your game crashes it drops off the list after less than a minute.
as host you can use the admin commands above except god and fly. if you want to play fair type /admin off, /admin on gives them back. you can kick people with /kick <player> or in the pause menu under players, and a kicked player can't come back for 10 minutes. the host can't be kicked, and neither can the developer. only the host can add or remove bots.
votekick
anyone can start one with /votekick <player> or in the pause menu under players. there have to be at least 3 players in the lobby and bots don't count.
everyone except the player being voted on votes with F6 for yes or F7 for no, /yes and /no work as well. you can't vote on your own votekick, and whoever starts it already counts as a yes.
the host counts the votes. it passes when more than half of the other players vote yes (not voting doesn't count as a yes). it fails when half or more vote no, or when 30 seconds run out. it also gets cancelled if the player leaves or there are less than 3 players left.
only one vote can run at a time and you can start one per minute. the host and the developer can't be votekicked. a player who gets kicked this way can't rejoin for 10 minutes, and at the end everybody sees who voted yes and who voted no.
afk
if you don't move, aim, chat or shoot for 90 seconds while you're alive in a running round you get a warning, and at 120 seconds you get removed from the lobby. you can rejoin after 20 seconds. the host never gets afk kicked.
reports
type /report <player> [reason], or go to pause, players, report and pick a reason (cheating or hacking, abusive chat, griefing or team killing, spamming, other). it only works inside a lobby. it goes to me and i see it in the developer panel. you can send one report every 30 seconds and the same player only once every 10 minutes.
friends and parties
there's a button with a little person and a plus at the top right of the menus, that's the friends and party panel.
type a name in the box and press add to send a friend request, they have to accept it. every friend has a dot: green is online, yellow is in a lobby (it shows the lobby name, mode and how many players are in) and grey is offline. if a friend is in a lobby you can press join. if you're in one yourself, invite sends them an invite. new requests and invites show up as a small message and wait for you in the panel.
for a party press party next to a friend who is online. the first invite makes you the leader. when the leader goes into a lobby everybody in the party gets an invite to it automatically, or they can press join leader's lobby in the panel. leave party is at the bottom of the party list.
leaderboard and player finder
leaderboard / player finder in the multiplayer menu ranks everyone by kills. type a name to find someone and click them to see their kills, deaths, k/d, headshots, headshot rate and play time, and if they're online right now or when they were last seen. it only shows game stats, nothing private like ips. your stats get saved by your own game.
